I came here for my third keratin treatment (first time at this salon) after finding a deal online. I still can’t stomach $300 for a treatment, but the daily deals are great. The woman who did my hair was super nice and friendly, and despite my super thick hair, she finished in under 2 hours which was REALLY impressive considering the first time I did it, it took about 4 hours. Waited to review until after washing my hair and I can say that it turned out perfectly! My crazy frizzy curly hair is now reduced to shiny beach waves after washing. I washed my hair last night and slept with it wet, didn’t do a thing to it this morning and it looks wavy and pretty. I’m very pleased! Would return if they keep offering discounts.

The girls at the Allure are great! I love the atmosphere in the salon… Every time I go they educate me about new styles and always walk me through styles I can maintain myself… I appreciate their professional input about my hair and style, I know that they keep my best interest in mind. My hair looks great everytime and when I leave the salon I feel confident and get tons of compliments on my new style!

I have been to this salon several times while in the Belltown area. I love the modern deco blue tone, the great artwork and the friendly atmosphere. This is the fun kind of hip place not the stuck up kind. Most importantly they have great stylists who really take into consideration your needs. At the end of the day it all comes down to the cut, color and style that takes into consideration your needs and your existing features. I encourage those who like great styling for prices that are deserved and not over inflated like many other salons to stop on by or visit their website. I honestly think this salon is right up there with the best of them which means a lot coming from me; I don’t just let anyone cut my hair.

I have thick, coarse, wavy hair that has always been uncontrollable. It’s not the fun curly, wild look, just hair with a definite mind of its own! Never has my hair looked and felt better than it has with the keritan treatment done by Amani at Allure Salon. I am a veteran of the Gene Juarez’s Japanese straightening treatments. Rather than a 2 hour process of drying , flat ironing and taming my hair after I wash it, I simply wash it, blow it dry, flat iron it a bit and viola – 15 minutes later beautiful, shiny, straight hair. I’m in my 50′s and I finally “like” my hair – love it is closer to the truth! Amani is fantastic!

Amani Anderson took over Allure Salon this Summer… I have been a loyal client of Amani’s for years… and well, what can I say? She is as talented as they come: excellent and exciting color and cuts, fabulous understanding of a client’s wants, needs and desires and she has a terrific personality – warm and welcoming which is equally reflected in the ambience at Allure. This isn’t an overpriced, mediocre hair mill like some other places in Belltown… Allure is intimate, with only a few choice stylists and where the customers come first. Schedule an appointment at Allure with any of the stylists – you won’t be disappointed.

BTW: I am notoriously picky about my hair. I have family who are cosmotologists and barbers… and I have had my hair cut in Manhattan and Boston by some of the “best” and frankly, Amani ranks up there with the them.

I love AMANI!!!

Last year I was travelling alot and needed my hair done. I am extremly picky when it comes to getting my hair done, as I had the same stylist and colorist for years at DPT in San Francsico. When it came down to the wire, a close friend suggested a go to a salon downtown.

As luck would have it, I got Amani! I told her what I wanted and gave her the freedom to do a little creativity as well. I walked away feeling AMAZEBALLS! Since then, she has switched salons and is now at Allure. Love the space they are in and LOVE Amani!! Can I say that anymore? If you are looking for someone who understands we are all sensitive about our hair, someone who is up to date with current trends and knows her product – I recommend her. You will love sitting in her chair, chatting about her most recent weddings (yes, she had two) and look at the beautiful pictures she has! She’s got it people!
